| EXPOSED: An HIV Playboy Playmate Talks About
Her Life A lecture/video program When Rebekka Armstrong was 18, she was chosen out of hundreds of thousands of young women to become a Playboy centerfold and had not yet been diagnosed with AIDS. But Rebekka became infected with HIV at 16 when she had unprotected sex with a young man she had met on a summer beach vacation. After hiding the effects of the disease, and surviving a 36-hour coma which resulted from an attempted suicide, Rebekka went public and has since dedicated herself to preventing others from making the mistakes of unsafe sex or drug use. She remains a working Playboy Playmate, is the spokesperson for Cable Positive, and has been profiled on “E! True Hollywood Stories.” |
