Everything you (REALLY) Need to Know About Dating, Sex & College

A fun and informative, illustrated lecture/slide program with audience participation based on The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbooks that Jennifer co-authored

While college students are hard at work hitting the books, they also have need of another kind of book, another kind of education. That’s where The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Dating, Sex & College lecture comes in. Highlighting humorous but real-life situations that crop up on campuses everywhere, author Jennifer Worick dissects and offers solutions for the dating disasters that can derail even the luckiest, smartest college student.

Whether trolling for dates at the campus watering hole or dating the same person since 7th grade, the lecture offers a little something for every co-ed, touching on Defensive Dating, First Impressions, Restaurant and Bar Survival Skills, Bedroom (and Dorm Room) Survival Skills, and Academic Survival. This is the frank, funny talk that Jennifer wishes she had been able to attend in college—she might have avoided that unfortunate evening with the Wisconsin rugby team. The program will incorporate an interactive dialogue as Jennifer gets members of the audience to share their own best and worst pick-up lines, break-up lines, excuses and real-life worst case scenarios.

Jennifer Worick is the coauthor of the New York Times bestseller, The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: Dating & Sex and The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook: College. In addition, she has written and coauthored several other books and journals, including the upcoming The Action Heroine’s Handbook, Mr. Alexander’s 4 Steps to Love, The Rebound Journal, and Get Your Dating Game On.

Jennifer has appeared to promote her books on The Today Show, Montel, The Other Half, and ABC’s World News Now. She has been interviewed for Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, the Los Angeles Times, The Detroit Free Press, the New York Post, USA Today Weekend magazine, and the Washington Post, among others.
